SOUND ART

Spöksonaten is the final degree project from my Masters course in Sonic Art. The piece is an audio-visual telling of the eponymous play by the Swedish playwright August Strindberg. Combining sound art, sound design, electroacoustic and traditional composition with visual projection and live acting the aim of piece is to create a deep immersion into the metaphor of the play through sound and visuals.

Diphoton Anomaly is an electroacoustic composition for manipulated guitar and computer. The piece uses a custom designed pureData patch to enable live performance. The work is inspired by the exciting work being done in Physics at institutions such as the LHC and LIGO and the mysteries of the quantum world. .
